Shade & ornamental trees: maple, oak, elm, birch, serviceberry, redbud, dogwood, crabapple, and more (B&B, field-grown).

Evergreens & screens: arborvitae, spruce, pine, juniper, yew—uniform, hedge-ready material.

Flowering & broadleaf shrubs: boxwood, viburnum, lilac, forsythia, winterberry holly, and Midwest-proven performers.

Specimens & multi-stems: We specialize in specimens. Contact us about tagging your order for you.

Specifications & Grading

Dig & balling: Clean baskets, burlap, and ball sizes matched to caliper for establishment; oversized balls available on request.

Uniformity: Height/spread and leader structure graded to landscape specs.

Handling: Staged loads, tarping/strapping assistance, and clear pick tickets.

Ordering & Programs

Live availability: Weekly updates; reserve material with PO or deposit.

Spring/Fall digging windows: Primary digs Mar–May and Sep–Nov; evergreens typically October. Ask if you need material outside these windows—we’ll advise what’s field-ready.

Logistics & Delivery

Contact Ben to set up delivery of your wholesale loads with A. Jackson Trucking, LLC for top notch service.

Pickup: Fast loading, organized staging—bring straps/tarps.
Delivery: Routed by geography; multi-stop options available.

Capacity guide (rule-of-thumb): ~80 × 24" balls or ~8 × 65" balls on a full semi. Call for mixed-load planning.

FAQs (for pros)

Do you palletize/tarp?

We stage and assist with strapping/tarping with your tarps and straps. We do not palletize.

When do you dig orders?

Your order is dug the day before it is shipped or picked up. Your freshly dug, balled and burlapped material positions your jobs for the most successful outcome.

How do I avoid holdover issues?

Ask what’s diggable now vs. next window; then schedule prompt pickup or delivery. Reach out and we'll have your order ready when the job is ready.

How do you ball & burlap your material?

All burlap and twine used are biodegradable. Treated burlap will be used at customer request and may incur an extra cost. Wire baskets are used on all Vermeer balls at no additional charge to the customer.

How do you prioritize orders?

Orders will be dug in the order in which they are booked. Every effort is made to have your order ready when you want it. We w ill call you prior to digging to ensure you are ready to receive your order.

When can I pick-up my order?

Orders may be picked up Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm. When sending trucks for pick up, please send straps and tarps if you want your plant material covered.

Do you warranty your plant material?

We give no warranty expressed or implied as to t he productiveness of nursery stock. We accept no responsibility for the guarantee wholesale customers pass to their clients. All claims for unacceptable plants must be made within a 5 day period. In no case will adjustments exceed the purchase price.
