Emerald Queen Norway Maple is a fast-growing deciduous tree with a very dense upright oval crown with glossy deep green palmate foliage that turns yellow in fall. Grows best in moist well-drained soils. Emerald Queen is very tolerant of strong winds and urban conditions, but note it freely self-seeds.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Water regularly. Susceptible to verticillium wilt which is usually fatal. Shallow root system can crack or heave nearby driveways or sidewalks, and interfere with turf.
