Pretty In Pink Astilbe is a compact mounding herbaceous perennial with shiny burgundy to bronze green foliage. Long red stems sporting feathery pink panicles of star shaped pale rose pink flowers bloom above the leaves from mid to late summer. Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist soils. Astilbe are deer and rabbit resistant.
