Yellow Gem Council Tree is a non-fussy tropical evergreen shrub used as a houseplant that maintains its tree-like habit even when potted. The glossy deeply veined two-toned foliage is mostly deep green with lime green to yellow edging depending on the amountof indirect sun it gets. A great low-water option that grows best with bright indirect sun and sharply-draining soils. Reaches up to 6ft when grown indoors, but can easily be pruned for size.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Wipe the leaves down with horticultural / neem oil solution and dish soap to simultaneously clean the leaves and to deter pests. Let soil dry out between watering. Grows best with high humidity. Fertilize 1-2 times a month during the growing season.
