Rutgers D'Light Strawberry is a herbaceous perennial with abundant runners and high yields. The coarse-toothed deep green foliage is topped by white flowers with yellow centers from late spring into summer. The large firm sweet berries with an unusual lightbulb shape mature to deep red, and are ready for harvest from summer into fall. Blooms best with full sun and fertile well-drained soil.
