Trautman Juniper is a fast-growing compact coniferous shrub with narrow upright columnar branching. The spiny aromatic needle-like foliage is a dark grayish blue-green. Its berry like cones turn blue-gray in fall and persist in winter. Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought Tolerant once established.
