Mountbatten is a large coniferous shrub that has a symmetrical pyramidal habit with puright branching and dense grey-green needle like foliage. Pollinated females produce powdery blue berries that last through winter. Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils. Highly tolerant of urban conditions, wind, and drought.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Junipers are generally susceptible to blights, especially in unusually wet weather. Rust and canker may occur, though it is not serious. Potential pests include aphids, bagworms, webworms, and scale.
