Monarda 'Purple Rooster' is a beautiful bee balm variety known for its vibrant purple-violet flowers that bloom in mid to late summer. It typically grows to about 2-3 feet tall and features the characteristic whorled flower heads that are highly attractive to pollinators, especially bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Like other bee balms, it has aromatic foliage that gives off a minty fragrance when crushed.
