Bald Cypress is a long-lived native conifer tree with a pyramidal habit, a buttressed trunk, and root knees when grown in water. The light and soft feathery like needle foliage is yellow-green and turns an attractive cinnamon orange-brown in fall. Grows best in full sun and moist to wet acidic soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Yellowing can be a problem in alkaline soils. Twig blight, bagworms, and mites are occasional problems.
