Viburnum plicatum var. tomentosum ~ Doublefile Viburnum
This product is only available in store. Visit our Nursery for more information.
Doublefile Viburnum is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a mounding habit and horizontal branching. The deeply pleated toothed dark green leaves turn red-purple to plum in fall. Flat clusters of white flowers bloom double file along the leaf axils in late spring, which fade to soft pink with age before giving way to bright red berries that mature to black in fall. Flowers best with full sun and moist, lightly acidic well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. Foliage is evergreen in the South but still earns fall color.
